Giving Thanks!
Thanksgiving Day allows us to stop and take Inventory of our blessings.
It is a reminder to pause, reflect and give thanks for all we appreciate.
Slow Down, and Count Your Blessings.
When You Are Frustrated, Drop into Gratitude.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT) Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
I am learning to be thankful, anytime I am frustrated or angry. I pull out a pen and paper and start writing. This works if you are angry with a person or a situation. As you count your blessings you are able to bless your enemies and do good to those who despitefully use you with God’s help!
When you are frustration, select a word to say, such as “Peace” “Love”
Ask yourself, what is stealing my joy?
Add Thanksgiving to the beginning and end of your prayers.
Philippians 4:6 (TLB), Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.
During this thanksgiving season, I’d like to express gratitude for allowing me to connect with you throughout the year, whether as a reader or a cherished client. Thank you for enriching my life. I trust I will continue to inspire you to live your best life with great connections with God, yourself and others.
Thank you! Cynthia Crockett
